In addition to the Girl’s Guide for girls in the USA, we have developed puberty books for girls and boys in nine other countries around the world. We develop books grounded in the social, cultural and economic context of each country. To develop each book, we conduct participatory research with girls and boys, capturing the perspectives of young people growing up today, and incorporating their stories alongside factual guidance on the physical and emotional changes of puberty.
